Book recommendations for teens

Hi guys!! In this section, I'll recommend some of the books I've read. 

  • Idhún Memories, by Laura Gallego

      • Summary: The books tell the story of a fantastic chain of events that will affect two worlds: Earth and Idhún. The story is based on three children: Jack, Victoria and Kirtash, who are destined to change Idhún's fate forever.



  • A court of thorns and roses, by Sarah J. Maas 
      • Summary: Feyre is a huntress. The skin of a wolf would bring enough gold to feed her sisters for a month. But the life of a magical creature comes at a steep price, and Feyre has just killed the wrong wolf. Taken prisoner by a High Fae Lord, Feyre learns that her masked captor is hiding even more thn his piercing gaze suggest. 

  • The perks of being a wallflower, by Stephen Chbosky

      • Summary: Charlie is a teenager who in a series of letters describe his life as he starts high school. Sensitive and introverted, Charlie makes new friends with whom he explores the meaning of friendship and love during the awkward years od adolescence. 

  • Three Dark Crowns, by Kendare Blake

      • Summary: In every generation on the island of Fennbirn, a set of triplets is born—three queens, all equal heirs to the crown and each possessor of a coveted magic - Mirabella, Katharine and Arsinoe. But becoming the Queen Crowned isn’t solely a matter of royal birth. Each sister has to fight for it. And it’s not just a game of win or lose…it’s life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins.The last queen standing gets the crown. 


  • Guardianes de la ciudadela, by Laura Gallego

      • Summary: Axlin's world is full of mosters. Some of them attack travelers on the roads, others besiege villages until they are completely destroyed, and others enter houses at night to take children while they sleep. Axlin has set out to investigate as much as possible about monsters and translate his discoveries into a book that can serve as guidance and protection for others. But throughout her journey she will find things that she never would have imagined when she left.

         

  • The disappeared, by C.J. Harper

      •  Summary: Jackson's life is perfect: he's top of his class, wants for nothing and is destined to be part of the leadership that runs the country. But when a violent incident leaved¡s Jackson badly beaten and his best friend dead, everything changes. Suddenly, his teachers claim not to know him, his records are deleted... Jackson doesn't exist anymore.

  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

      • Summary: The Capitol of Panem maintains its hold on its 12 districts by forcing them each to select a boy and a girl, called Tributes, to compete in an event called the Hunger Games. Every citizen must watch as the youths fight to the death until only one remains. District 12 Tribute Katniss Everdeen has little to rely on, other than her hunting skills and sharp instincts, in an arena where she must weigh survival against love. 

  • Divergent by Veronica Roth

      • Summary: Tris Prior lives in a world in which society is divided into five factions. As each person enters adulthood, he or she must choose a faction and commit to it for life. Tris chooses Dauntless -- those who pursue bravery above all else. However, her initiation leads to the discovery that she is a Divergent and will never be able to fit into just one faction. Warned that she must conceal her status, Tris uncovers a looming war which threatens everyone she loves.

  • The Institute, by Stephen King 

      • Summary: a genius child prodigy named Luke Ellis is kidnapped and put in a place called The Institute with other kids that have abilities like telekinesis and telepathy. Together, they must find a way out of this sinister institute that seeks to exploit their abilities, even though no one has ever successfully escaped before.
